AIKIDO IS ONE OF THE MANY DISCIPLINES TAUGHT IN TEXAS

About Us

The Texas Martial Arts Hall of Fame was founded in 1996 by Danny Passmore of Waco.   His sole intention was to create one location where future generations could learn the history of their particular style as it relates to Texas.

In the hall of fame, you will find world champion competitors, founders, instructors, organizers and exceptional students who have and are promoting martial arts within our great state.

NEW ADDITION

CURRENT STATUS

The Texas Martial Arts Hall of Fame Foundation has now received it’s 501(c)3 non profit status.  We will now begin soliciting donations to accomplish our goals.

One of those goals is to house a permanent display in the prestigious Texas Sports Hall of Fame Museum in Waco.  Please note that our members are NOT inducted into the Texas Sports Hall of Fame.

Another goal is to set up limited matching grant funds for schools which sponsor at-risk, disadvantaged families.

We hope you enjoy visiting this site, the permanent display and the traveling display.
